New house style
For some time, Van Tuijl had been walking around with the idea of giving the company's appearance a makeover. It all needed to be a bit clearer and more internationally recognisable, but it could also be a bit fresher and more modern.
"Van Tuijl is a manufacturer of injection-moulded products and supplies a wide range of packaging for the horticultural sector. However, this range has grown so large that the 'pot-trays-sticks' story no longer adequately covered the load," says Frits van Duijn, international sales manager at the company. "The idea for the new look is therefore closely linked to restructuring and positioning our range externally."
Specifically, this meant dividing the product range into three segments: Horticulture, nurseries and soft fruit. The three colours under the mill represent these three market segments. The mill itself has two reasons: on the one hand, it is a reference to the company's origins 'at the mill' in Brakel; on the other, it is a piece of recognition internationally: 'we are a Dutch company'. Finally, the slogan 'Supports your growth' sums up what they do at its core, which is to facilitate growers from A to Z.
