This powerful collaboration with our clients brings the most specific details and wishes to the table, which Van Tuijl, in consultation with the client, translates into an existing or custom-made product.
We would like to tell you how Van Tuijl originated and for that we have to go back in time, because Van Tuijl has been around for generations!
It originated in animal feed, compost and potting soil after which, in the early 1970s, the switch was made to stone flower pots. A few years later in 1974, the first plastic flower pots came onto the market under our own brand name.
Over the years, Van Tuijl's product range has expanded to include all types and sizes of hanging pots, plant containers, plant trays, ornamental pots trays, tonkin canes, split bamboo and plant racks. In short, everything in which a plant grows or is supported is available at Van Tuijl!

Own injection-moulded products
At Van Tuijl, we develop our own injection-moulded products. Using injection moulding technology, we make tree containers, pots and flower buckets, among others. Our range of Vatuplast pots are fully recyclable and are made of 100% recycled polypropylene and have therefore also received the official Cyclos-HTP certificate.
Customisation is also possible
Van Tuijl is an innovation company. We do this by visiting trade fairs to learn about new techniques, methods and products. We also regularly meet growers to discuss developments in their own business. And this is how we come to adapt existing products so that they fit in perfectly with the grower's business operations. Customisation is therefore (almost) always possible.
Own import
At Van Tuijl, over the years we have built up an extensive network of suppliers in the Netherlands, Europe and beyond. This enables us to offer a total range that varies from tonkin canes and pots to plant bags and tools.

Fast delivery
At Van Tuijl, we operate from three locations that together have enormous storage capacity. This enables us to keep sufficient stock of all products in our range. For all our customers, this means that their orders are always delivered quickly. In order not to be dependent on third parties, we also have our own distribution. This allows us to guarantee quality and speed.
Recycling
Our product range Vatuplast pots are fully recyclable and are made of 100% recycled polypropylene and have therefore also received the official Cyclos-HTP certificate. In addition to the standard range, we can produce pots made of 100% recycled polypropylene in any desired version.
In cooperation with our recycling partner, we collect used pots and process them into renewed, usable granulate. With that granulate, we can produce new pots, which thus consist of 100% recycled material. The challenge is to collect the waste streams in such a way that different types of plastic can be separated. We use recycled polystyrene and polyethylene terephthalate
for trays and polypropylene for pots and containers. This raw material is best suited for injection moulding of pots.

Van Tuijl aims to grow with cash-and-carry for nurseries
Van Tuijl is best known for producing and supplying recycled trays and pots for nurseries and horticulture. But what many may not yet know is that the company has a cash-and-carry facility in Opheusden, which offers all kinds of things to make the grower's job easier.
New house style
For some time, Van Tuijl had been walking around with the idea of giving the company's appearance a makeover. It all needed to be a bit clearer and more internationally recognisable, but it also needed to be a bit fresher and more modern.
